—That’s right, a man stole a police detective’s car while handcuffed. He crashed the car into a tree, jumped out and stole another car, crashed that car and was finally arrested. A robbery at a 7-Eleven kicked off the night of mayhem; two other suspects remain on the lam.
“Police said she crawled through the window of a White Castle drive-through window after displaying a toy gun and stole about $617 in cash.”
—The incident happened just after 3 a.m. Aug. 22. Michelle Faye White, 33, of St. Louis, has been charged with first-degree robbery; police said she admitted the crime.
